The Soul Quarter is a richly layered hospitality interior nestled within Stranges Lane, reimagined to elevate the dining and cocktail experience while retaining the warmth and intimacy the venue is known for.
The refurbishment transformed the existing space into a moody, seductive setting that unfolds across both the ground floor and mezzanine, offering the perfect atmosphere for drinking, dining, and lingering long into the evening.
The bar forms the heart of the space, combining emerald green finger tiles with a solid timber bar top to create a tactile and visually striking focal point. Neon bar lighting introduces a soft glow and cocktail-lounge mood, while plush velvet-feel upholstery, pressed tin panels, and dramatic velvet drapery add depth, texture, and a sense of old-world glamour.
The ground floor opens to the laneway courtyard, creating an inviting connection between inside and out, while the mezzanine level provides a more intimate vantage point. Carefully considered lighting and material choices allow the space to transition effortlessly from daytime dining to candlelit evenings by the fire.
